Pet Loss Support Group
Our pets provide companionship, acceptance, emotional support, and unconditional love. If you
understand and accept this bond between humans and animals, you've already taken the first
step toward coping with pet loss: knowing that it is okay to grieve when your pet dies.
Finding ways to cope with your loss can bring you closer to the day when memories bring
smiles instead of tears. Amy Daniels, LPC is a dog owner who understands first hand what it is like to grieve the loss of a beloved pet.
The Pet Loss Support Group meets monthly every third Monday at 7pm. Please contact Amy Daniels, LPC by phone or email, if you would like to attend this group. This group is for children, teens and adults and there is not a charge to attend this group. I provide a place for pet owners to provide one another support over the loss of their pet. The loss of a pet can be lonely for a pet owner because he or she often does not feel his or her loss is considered to have significance in comparison to the loss of a fellow human.
This service is in honor of India and Skylar who were both my beloved pets.
